About the video
- Video and Packet - $75.

Why a video?
It's is a great way to offer a personalized welcome to your new consultants giving them an overview of all of the helpful content provided within the PDF package.
- With advancing technology and shorter attention spans, people are more likely to respond to and remember information presented in a fun, interactive way.
- Your new Consultants are probably very tech savvy, and short-term video is likely how they prefer to consume information.
- Many people do not have the resources to create a product like this, but we make it simple and easy.
- Picking your own Assistant also makes your welcome video a fun, personal experience. By the end of the video, the Consultant will feel like they've known her forever!
How it works:
- Once you purchase the video, you'll receive an email with how to customize your welcome video.
- Once we receive all of your information, we'll begin work on your video.
- We'll send you a snippet of just the opening portion of your video which will include your accomplishments and the information you provided.
- Once you confirm the information you sent is accurate, we'll create your entire video and return as final.
- Once your video has been returned as final we'll, of course, fix any glitches in the processing. But any changes to the information you have already confirmed as being correct will be an additional $10 due to the additional time of editing, formatting, and re-converting the final file.
- So, please, make sure you're completely confident in the content when confirming the video draft is accurate.
How long does it take to complete?
- Basic video: We estimate 3 to 5 business days for you to receive the initial draft back.
- Video with added customized content: This will take much longer because of the time to create custom content. We'll keep you informed of the progress and when you'll receive the draft.
- Once you have received the draft, review it to verify the content. Once approved, that will be the final.
- But for this wonderful product, waiting a few extra days beyond the 3 to 5 will be worth it, right?
Your photo:
- Because the video is in high definition, your photo needs to be the highest quality as well.
- Whatever you send will be the final version, so make SURE it's the photo you want to include.
- The best photo is one that shows just your torso and higher with good lighting.
- If the photo includes just you OR it includes another person, please send us the whole photo rather than cropping it. We can easily remove people and background to get the image we require.
How do I share the video and packet with new Consultants?
- Because the videos are very large (150+ MB) we suggest hosting it on a platform like Vimeo.
- Vimeo is FREE to use and is the platform we will use to deliver your completed video to download.
- It's great because there are no commercials and the free version gives you enough space to host a video of this size.
- If you want to use vimeo, when you visit the site, make sure to look for the link at the top about the free, basic plan.
- Once you have downloaded the video as final from us, you can then upload it again to your own Vimeo page.
- Then just send an email with the video link and attach the packet to the email.
I would rather host the video myself on my own website or on my YouTube channel. Is that possible?
- Sure. Since the size is 150+ MB, you should make sure your website host can accommodate videos that large. YouTube certainly can.
- But our recommendation is to not use YouTube. Vimeo is better suited.
- YouTube has ads and Vimeo does not.
- You don't want ads interrupting your Consultants while viewing the video.
Can I purchase just the New Consultant Packet without the video?
- Yes. The packet is $35 alone. Click here to purchase it.
- If you would like to purchase the video at a later date, the price will still be $75.
What about revisions to information from the Company?
Just like the new 30% tier Mary Kay just added, the Company might come out with other major changes.
- If the Company does have a significant change, we'll update that in your video and packet free of charge to you.
- Although it's a major change and will mean an update to the Assistant, creation of new graphics, and a change in the packet, it's not your fault the change was made and will not carry a fee.
- But you will have to contact us to make the change.
- We won't do it automatically.
In the event you reach a higher Director level (like move from Director to Sr. Director), that change will carry a fee.
- Any work done to the video, even something like simply changing your title means an update to the Assistant introducing you, a chanage in the text of the video page, and changing the information in the packet.
- So the fee for this type of change is a modest $10. It's basically time and effort to make the update.

Customization
As you can imagine, creating content for a video takes a good amount of time, and we want to provide you with a quality product as quickly and efficently as possible, yet we realize that there may be topics you want to include.
- There is an additional cost of $25 for each page of customized content.
- This cost reflects the time required to customize all the elements needed to integrate this custom content with the overall design of your video.
- During signup, you can indicate the number and type of customization you'll need.
- And then during checkout, you then include it as an add-on cost to the video.
What you'll need to provide:
- The script for the Assistant to speak sent in Microsoft Word or Publisher for easy cut and paste.
- Any supporting images/clipart.
- The script will be presented as audio and not visually with an Assistant.
Canada
- The sample video and packet shows the U.S. interface and links. In the Canadian version, these will be updated.
- One major difference not available in Canada is the 30% discount tier. That will be removed in your version.
Perfect Start Challenge:
In Canada, although the website informs new Consultants about the Perfect Start challenge on the "New Consultants Start Here" page, there are no charms for you to buy nor are there other places on the website which explains the challenge.
Because of that, we have sourced some charms which you can order to offer this challenge to your new Consultants.

As a Canadian Director, you will be offered these options:
- To completely remove any mention from the video and packet about this program.
- To keep the program and use the charms we've sourced.
- To keep the program but find your own charms to use.
- If you want to provide your own charms, you'll need to send clear photos of the charms to be included.
- The parameters of the program (i.e. 15 days, 30 days, etc. must be exactly the same as the current program. Only the images of the charms should change).
- That way we'll be able to use the same explanation of the challenge that your Assisstant already says in the video as well as the content in the packet but now with new images of the charms.
Other Countries
I'm not from Canada or the U.S., but would like to purchase the video. How will you get my country's specific information?
- We are happy to provide the video for any country, just contact us to discuss the details.
- If you are the first from your country, we can work together to make sure it's correct for you.
- As we add new countries, we'll update the site to reflect the addition so others you refer (which we hope you will) will already have that information updated for them.
Translation
- Currently the only translation available is English.
- We are working to translate into Spanish (Mexican).
- There is no timeframe for that being finalized.
